Creating a Funding Project on Snipesocial
Funding on Snipesocial is a powerful feature designed to help users create and support various projects, causes, or business ideas. Whether you’re raising funds for a personal need, a creative venture, or a larger-scale initiative, Snipesocial provides an integrated platform to connect with your network and the broader community for financial support.
Once you create a funding project, it is displayed on your timeline and the site-wide “Funding” tab, giving it maximum visibility. Other users can explore, engage with, and contribute to funding projects they resonate with. The process is simple, seamless, and designed to foster collaboration and generosity within the community.
This tutorial will guide you through the two ways to create funding projects on Snipesocial and provide details on how you can get started. Additional tutorials will cover exploring the “Funding” tab and contributing to other users’ projects.
There are two ways to create a funding project on Snipesocial:
- Using the “My Funding” section: A dedicated area where you can manage and create your funding requests.
- Directly from the Feed: A quick and convenient way to start a funding project alongside your usual posts.
Step 1: Creating a Funding Project via “My Funding”
- Locate the “My Funding” Section
- On the left-hand navigation bar, under News Feed, click “My Funding”.
- This section displays any existing funding projects you’ve created.
- Start a New Funding Request
- Click the “Create Funding” button in this section.
- A pop-up form will appear, allowing you to configure your funding project.
- Fill Out the Funding Request Form
- Title: Enter a title that reflects your funding project’s purpose.
- Amount You Would Like to Receive: Input your target amount.
- Description: Write a detailed explanation of your funding project, including why you’re raising funds and how they will be used.
- Cover Image: Upload an image to visually represent your funding project. This helps attract more attention.
- Publish Your Funding Project
- Click “Publish” to make your funding project live.
- It will appear on your timeline and the site-wide “Funding” tab, making it visible to all users.
Step 2: Creating a Funding Project via the Feed
- Go to the Feed Post Options
- On your feed, locate the “What’s on your mind?” text box.
- Select the “Create Funding” Option
- Underneath the text box, click the post creation options.
- Select “Create Funding” to open the funding request form.
- Fill Out the Funding Request Form
- Complete the Title, Target Amount, Description, and Cover Image fields, as outlined in Step 1.
- Publish Your Funding Project
- Once completed, click “Publish” to post your funding project.
- Like the first method, your funding project will appear on your timeline and in the site-wide “Funding” tab.
Where to View and Explore Funding Projects
- Your Funding Projects: All your projects are displayed in the “My Funding” section.
- Site-Wide Projects: To explore all funding projects across Snipesocial, visit the Funding tab in the left-hand navigation panel.
- This tab allows you to browse and contribute to various projects created by users on the platform.
